Election March 1st

For those of you who are Lexington Residents i would urge you to vote for Deb Mauger and George Burnell. I know it seems obnoxious (as so many things here are) to add politics to a blog that's meant to keep people informed about issues regarding the woods, but Mauger and Burnell have openly advocated an amicable resolution to the conflict b/w the neighbor's and dog owners. I happened to attend the Selectmen's debate a few weeks ago and once again Mauger and Burnell addressed the issue of dogs at Willard s Woods openly while Jeon sidestepped the issue b/c it was "a messy situation." To be honest i don't care whether or not he is a proponent of our position it irked me that he refused to take a clear position. He was politically smart to avoid talking about the issue so as not to alienate any potential voters, but i appreciated Burnell and Mauger's willingness to discuss the issue despite a potential political backlash.
